Andres Iniesta expressed interest in becoming the captain of Barcelona next season. So far, Iniesta has been one of the team captains, although its position is still behind some other senior players.
Last season was Barcelona captain Carles Puyol, Xavi, Victor Valdes, Iniesta and new. Next season Iniesta likely to be the main captain after several senior players leave and Xavi might not be a lot of play.
"Being captain of the team has always been a dream of mine. Captain If so, it means you're still in the first team and continue to grow. Captain must always respect his colleagues and on the other hand are getting older. Positive and negative side to it," said Iniesta to Mundo Deportivo.
Iniesta also claimed to have never felt happy because of the great players to play at Barca. Unfortunately, some of which go this summer.
"I happily played with Xavi, Puyol and Valdes. We gain experience, not just about football, but also in terms of personnel."
