Chelsea's new striker, Diego Costa, said he was undeterred by criticism that happened in the 2014 World Cup and was ready to give the best performance for the Blues.
Costa surprisingly chose to play for Spain instead of his native country, Brazil. He then entered the World Cup squad La Roja, just to show the performance less than the maximum on the football fans around the world.
"I'm not hurt. I am aware that playing in the World Cup is the dream of all the players and I thank God for it. So, there is no reason why I should take offense at what has happened," said Costa told reporters.
"I hope I can play in the next World Cup. I hope to continue to maintain the level of play in the next four years and have a chance to re-live the same moment," he concluded.
